Hello!

We are off for our first ever trip to DLP in just over 3 weeks time - very excited! We haven't told our DD's, so I am nearly bursting with excitement just for them!

I am after a little advise please.

We are staying for 3 days/2 nights and have purchased Half Board Premium food vouchers. We will therefore get 2 meals, but to get the most out of our HBPremium vouchers I think we need to go to the more expensive restaurants. Does that make sense?

So, I have narrowed it down to 3 - Mickey's Cafe, Princess one (can't remember what it's called! Auberge?) and Inventions.

My girls are 5 and 7. Which 2 of those restaurants would you recommend for first timers?

Thanks :thumbsup2

the princess one is a must for little girls but as far as food goes they might not eat much. i have heard great things of inventions so i would definately do that. if you would prefer that they eat their food and dont mind missing out on the princesses then cafe mickey does have nice food and characters

I second that. :goodvibes

I haven't been to Auberge since it became the Princess meal but the setting is wonderful and I'm sure your DDs will adore being there with the Princesses and Princes. The only problem is if they are 'fussy eaters' (hope that term doesn't offend but I'm sure you know what I mean) as the food is traditional rather than kid-friendly.

I've done both Inventions and Cafe Mickey and love both but they are very different. I would definitely suggest you do dinner at Inventions as one of your meals as the buffet there is very extensive and the character interaction is excellent. We've always had lovely meals at Cafe Mickey too if that's where you decide to go but it is rather expensive for what you get, whereas the food at Inventions is IMO much better value for money.

Enjoy! :wizard:

I have only been to Cafe Mickey out of your choices, but I can recommend it completely. We absolutely adore it there..... If you look in the restaurant reviews sticky near the top of this board and go to the Cafe Mickey thread I've posted some photos of our meals there.... :goodvibes
