Hello everyone

We are going to Disneyworld in December and I had first made ADR at the SanAngel Inn in Epcot but after reading the reviews on here about SanAngel, I am wanting to change that reservation and I have been seriously considering Marrakesh as another choice.

So, what I am asking is, has anyone dined there and if so, what was your experience? I would be interested in hearing what you have to say.

Thanks so much!

We have had dinner at the Marrakesh twice now and we really like it :)

Service has been good both times, food is very nice - could do with being a little spicier though.

Belly dancer is an added bonus :)

We've eaten there and it was just ok. The food was bland and the service nothing special. The restaurant iteself is beautiful, though. I'm probably in the minority, but I prefer San Angel Inn (as long as you stay away from the shrimp and pasta dish - yuk!).

We dined at Marrakesh last week and we liked it. The food was good, not great. Our service was good and the atmosphere was good with beautiful surroundings and the belly dancer and music were enjoyable.

We were there last Nov and it was terrible. Service bad, food bad, band only played 10 min. Belly dancer there all of 5 min. It was 5pm and quiet as a library. Definitely not worth it.

We have eaten at Marrakesh at least once on all of our past trips. My DS (6) loves the vegetable cous cous and I love the lamb meshoui. We always find that the service and food are sometimes hit or miss. At times, the food , service, and entertainment (belly-dancer) are quite good to exceptional, and at other times, it has been so-so.

I would recommend that you try it since even at its worst, it has always been enjoyable. :thumbsup2

The Chicken Bastilla app. is to die for! I think it was my husband's favorite part of the vacation, lol (and he is normally a meat and potatoes guy). Overall, very good food, OK service, great entertainment. We loved it and will return.

We ate at Marrakesh last week during free dining. I thought it was great. I had the beef brewat roll for an appetizer, lamb shank with couscous, and bastilla (I think!) for dessert. It was all wonderful. We had a great service, too (Hasan from Casablanca!). We could not really see the belly dancer very well from where we were sitting -- but lots of people got up to take pictures. She was a very thin belly dancer -- I always thought they would be much curvier :)

Let me start by saying that Marakesh used to be one of our top five favorite restaurants at WDW but after our last visit there we will never go again. Terrible dried out overcooked food seemed like it was sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. The service was the worst I have experienced at any restaurant not just at WDW. And the belly dancer came out for a grand total of about 5 minutes and never returned again the whole hour and a half we were there.
There are so many good restaurants at Epcot and nearby at the BW area that I wouldn't waste my time and money at this place.
