I'm traveling with a 5 and 2 year old. My hubby likes his meat and potatoes, sis-in-law doesn't eat beef or pork..only chix and turkey..and i don't eat sea food. no one but me likes mexican : ( and no one is willing to try food we don't normally eat...
What places, both cs and ts, has a wide variety? Only place i can really remember we liked was pinocchio village haus..
and most of the buffets are good that we like..crystal palace, hollywood play and dine, etc
i have been checking out the menus but there is SUCH a huge selection, thought maybe some of you had quick reference for me!
would appreciate it

What I suggest is doing a TS breakfast every day and do CS for lunch and dinner and if one person doesnt like a CS walk around until they find something they do like

Without knowing where you are staying, I would have to say that your best bet is going to be doing exactly what you said, stay with the "buffets" for both breakfast and dinner, and something light for lunch.
I hate to say it, but "Bob P" actually said what I first thought... (LOL) so I'm glad you have a sense of humor !
Serioulsy though, doing the "all you can eats" for every breakfast and dinner would be a real drag. Figure out where you are going to be, or what reataurants you will be near (or want to go to) and then look at all the menus for all the available restaurants. It's a little time-consuming, but it will probably make your "dining experience" a little more enjoyable and a lot less hectic ! Sorry about the "Mexican" thing, too... you'll be missing a good dining experience....

As long as they are not as picky with their side dishes or styles (i.e., grilled vs fried) then it really should not be that difficult to get something at most TS. All of them have a chicken option and a beef/steak/pork option. If they are willing to eat psuedo-asian style, then Ohana would work. If they are willing to eat German style, then Biergarten would work (they do have roast chicken in there with all of the red meat/sausages). 50s PTC, Liberty Tree, Coral Reef, Chefs de France, WCC, Captain's Grille - all of these would work if your family members are willing to accept the fact that they will be limited to one or two choices based on their preferred proteins. Even Le Cellier Steakhouse serves chicken entrees. ;)

As for CS, again - madam poultry will be safe anywhere if she is willing to eat chicken nuggets, and mister meat-and-potatoes will be fine anyplace as long as burger and fries qualifies. For better food options perhaps a large food-court style place is more what y'all need, like Sunshine Seasons or Cosmic Rays or a resort food court where there are more options in one place.

Nearly all the hamburger type CS places have a chicken sandwich or chicken nuggets. Cosmic Rays in MK has a wide variety of food including ribs, chicken, burgers, and nuggets. It seems to me all the TS places have a chicken dish or you could get the veggie entree. You may want to stick with buffets as your TS so everyone should be able to find some thing to eat. I recommend checking out the menus of restaurants online, I'm sure you will find something that will suit all of you :thumbsup2
