Ressies using points AND cash?

For an October 2008 trip we are booking a 2BR unit and 3 studios. I have enough points for the Sunday through Thursday nights portion of it, but we will need to use cash for Friday night ( I don't want to borrow any points from my 2009 allotment). How do I do this? Can it be combined so we don't have to move, since that's the whole point? Do I do it through member services? I know it is a long time from now before I even call in the reservation, but I want to know what to tell the rest of the family. DH said it is too expensive to pay out of pocket, but I pointed out the people who are going will be getting 6 nights for that price! Also, if there is an AP rate available at that time, can I use it?

You won't be able to get more than one villa on DVC cash discount because the member is supposed to stay in that room. You might be able to pay cash, if it is available, but not get the discount.

You can get an AP discount if it is available, but you can't link the reservations and you may have to move. You will have to check out and check back in on an AP rate.

You'll need to reserve those cash night through member services and have the reservaations linked. Member services can not book AP rates, that would have to be done through CRO (Disney Reservations) and it can not be linked, you would need to check-out and check-in and you may have to move with the AP reservations.
