Hi!
We're going Sept 25- Oct 2 and somehow we've missed LTT every time we been to MK! Not sure how that happened but we'd like to try it this time. My question is...will we still need to make ADRs even though we'll be going during the 'slow' season? Do you think if we went during an off time or in between regular meal times we could get in? Oh, BTW there are 4 of us, me, DH, and DSs 15 and 11.

TIA!

I would recommend you get an ADR. Now that you can do it online, people are booking up just in case they are going.

It is generally recommended to make ADRs for any TS meal you want to do. If you don't, you are at the mercy of what's available, which may not be the places and/or times that you want.

Your chances are better in "slow" season, but you're rolling the dice.

It doesn't hurt to make ADR's. The last few times I've dined at LTT, they were not taking walk-ups - and that was for lunch. We will be having lunch here again this Sunday and I have a noon ADR. If, for some reason, we don't want to go, I will cancel the ressie in the morning. But we usually like to have lunch there on our first day at WDW!

Uh, that is during free dining. You prolly need an ADR for any restaurant that takes them. During free dining there is almost always a sign in MK that says there are no sittings available at any MK TS and sometimes there's a sign attached under that says nothing is available at any MK resort restaurant.

You'll need it. I just booked LTT for around that time and there wasn't much availability. :sad2:

Definatly. now that free dinning has been extended you need to make dining reservations.

The planner in me says you must always book ADR's, even if it is just you and one other family in the park.:thumbsup2

Better safe than sorry, or better to overplan than go hungry (not that you will go hungry at WDW!);)

I'm going the same week and have for the past few years. This is the first year I have been able to get LTT in several years...I booked exactly on my 180 days out. It will be hard for you because of the free dining and also because MNSSHP is several nights that week and it always is booked solid on those days. Good luck!!pixiedust:

Definitely book a ressie!! I would say at other slow times when there is not free dining, you'd probably be just fine. Being free dining time, you need a ressie for any TS you might want to dine at. Everything will be booked solid while you are there!

Thank you for all of your help! This is the first year we are using ADRs (if you can't tell). We are usually more of a CS family but we are trying to switch it up a bit. I've made ADRs at LTT and hopefully we can make it!
