My sis n law and I made ressies at the same time at Rainforest Café next week, what are the chances of being seated together?? Any suggestions? There will be 10 of us altogether... thanks! :goodvibes

So I went to Open Table, couldn't even get Rainforest Café to show up, so I guess we will get there a little early and hope for the best! ;)

Call the restaurant directly to make the reservation. In the case of Landry's restaurants in WDW (Rainforest Cafe, TRex, Yak and Yeti), there is just zero reason to go through WDW dining and put down a cc hold, IMHO.

Thank-you, I never thought of that, will give them a call!! :thanks:

Just wanted to give an update for anyone who may want/need to know... I called Rainforest Café and was told that they do not have tables for 10 people, the largest they have sits 8. She went on to explain that they would do what they could to try and get our families as close as possible, and it is also possible if they have two tables available next to each other that they may push the two together, but she did say *Possible and to not get my hopes up as it is usually pretty busy.

Not sure how old the other kids are but if they have to split you up, would it work/be fun to have a parents table and "kids" table in close proximity?

That usually results in a disastrous meal for the tables next to the kids table.

If you look at the OP's family their children are all adults (25, 19, 15). I purposely said I didn't know the age of the other families kids but if they are comparable to their own, no reason they can sit together.

Believe me, as another family of all adult children now, I will be the first at our table to get upset with ill behaved children in a restaurant, but there are no "children" in their family.

oh believe that sounds good, but I know my sis n law wouldn't have it, her 2 boys are 10 and 11... it will be fine, we'll just make due with whatever we get not gonna let it get me down and ruin my Disney magic.. first time we will all be there in years going to enjoy it!!

We usually travel with a party of 8 or 10 and never have a problem sitting together - even if we have 2 different reservations. Sometimes we would have to wait - if it was important to us we would wait. Enjoy your trip!
