Hi,just booked our first reservation for our trip next year! I'm I able to view this reservation on the dvc site? If so,where do I go to view? :cool1:
 
The DVC site has been a bit quirky lately. Normally, all you have to do is go to My DVC, and then points, and then vacation details. But now you can't get there that way.

There is a back way in that some folks have figured out, but I haven't bothered doing it, so I can't help you there :)
 
The back way is using your points detail instead of the vacation detail. Your reservation and number of points deducted for the stay should show up there, but if you have more than one contract, you may have to look under the sub-contract numbers for any add-ons to get the full info. :)

I haven't been able to get to the member site at all today. After I log-in I get an error that the site is too busy.
 
There is a workaround to get to the vacation details. You just have to visit the Annual Dues page first. Once you do that, you will be able to load the Vacation Details page. So go to My Vacation Points, Annual Dues (let it load), then use the browser's back button to go back to the Vacation Points page. Then find the link in the middle of that page for Vacation Details and click on that. Your reservation should be displayed on that page.
 

I'm not seeing reservation. The points have been deducted though. One question, if I'm booking a day-to-day reservation will I be able to see now or until it's complete?

My reservation finally came up...thanks!! Just curious, is DVC doing anything to fix the problem??

The problem has been reported several times to Member Services. They have responded saying that they forwarded the information to their IT folks, but that was many weeks ago... Fortunately, DISboard member "tor" discovered this workaround a while back so while it takes a bit more time to get there, we can now view our vacation details again.
