We have friends that are 'supposed' to come to Disney the same time we are. They 'said' that they were going to go to the meals with us and everything. Question is-do I make the ressie for 4 if they don't get back to me? Or do them for 2 and try to change it if needed. AND if I do the ressie for 4, should I try to change it to 2 if they can't come. I don't want to be the person who takes a 4 top when all is needed is a 2 top, but I don't want to miss out on some of our ADRs....that we make tomorrow!

Definitely make them for 4. If their plans change, you can always change it to 2. But it can be really difficult, if not impossible, to add people on if things start filling up.

Totally agree. Always make your dining reservations for the maximum number of people that could be there.

I agree, make the rezzie for 4.

Pssst, in regular non-WDW restaurants, this sometimes works if you only have two people and can't get a reservation for two. Sometimes if you try for four, you can get that, and then have the other people "cancel." :rolleyes1
