ressie at David's ?????

I thought I read at David's rental site that you could only rent out your points there but not ( reservations you all ready have.) This the email I just got and show a booked ressie I believe. I have a room to get rid of but read you had to convert to points first. Little confused. Is there something on his site I missed or am I reading this wrong.

Even if it's a fixed week it's still a locked in reservation, why would he allow this but not somebody else's locked in reservation?

Because it's his rules? There isn't anybody else controlling what he will and won't broker. Won't DIS allow this now too outside of 30 days if you pay a fee?

Not reading David's mind, just my own speculation. Because a fixed week is just that, forever for that owner vs. someone speculatively booking a reservation they don't intend to use, just for the purpose of renting it out.

I agree that it's the difference between someone grabbing a reservation just in case they can rent it which prevents others from getting that reservation for a planned trip and a VGF guaranteed week owner that always has that week. That week is not in the reservation system at the 11 month mark.
