Resorts X-mas Decorations

Hello. I was interested in looking at the various christmas decorations @ the WDW resorts. Which one do you prefer? Which one is the largest? prettiest? etc? Please give me any suggestions about hopping from resort to resort. Thanks!

There are lots of threads about holiday decorations. People seem to rave about WL and GF. All the resorts have themed decorations, and some take a day to travel around and check out the decorations.

You really need to visit all of the resorts and see for yourself which ones are the best. My favorite is Boardwalk because they use lots of the glass balls and I love them. The biggest is probably the Grand Floridian but the Wilderness Lodge and the Animal Kingdom Lodge trees are huge also. And most of the trees are themed to match the resorts. The Wilderness tree has lots of North woods decorations, the Grand Floridian is elegant and the Animal Kingdom is African themed. The most amazing part is that the trees go up and get decorated all in one night. I was at the Animal Kingdom Lodge a couple of years ago and woke up to find the lodge had been completely transformed over night.

All the ones Penny mentioned and the Yacht and Beach Club. I was also surprised at how beautiful the ones are at Coronado Springs. Very unique and festive.

Don't forget to check out the Christmas decorations at Downtown Disney also. We found all of the decorations unique and special. Enjoy.

Hello,

My favorite resort to view Christmas decorations at is the Animal Kingdom Lodge. This resort has a very large Christmas tree along with two beautiful themed trees near the entrance. The resort itself is a great resort to visit or stay at. It has wonderful views, themes and animals to look at.
I definately recommend that you go to this resort.

I've been to most of the resorts this year and I my personal favorite is at WL. There is just something about the rustic nature of the lodge, the garlands hanging around the balconies overlooking the lobby and the huge tree in the center of the lobby. Very cool!
