Resorts With Free 'Fridge?

We hopped to POFQ for the last 2 days of our March '07 trip to find a refrigerator in a cabinet. We didn't ask for it or pay extra. Are Disney resorts adding this feature across the board? How about Swan/Dolphin? Our last S/D stay was March '06 and no 'fridge was includud, I'm wondering what to expect on our Oct. Swan stay.

don't know about swan/dolphin

but all the moderate and deluxe at WDW have the free 'fridge.

All of the WDW resorts, except for the values include a small refrigerator at no charge. Dont know about the Swan and Dolphin.

I know all the moderates (POFQ, POR, CSR, CBR) have the free fridge now.

I seem to remember that the Swan/Dolphin room's have mini-bars. I thought I'd read at one time that you could ask to have the mini-bar emptied so you could use the fridge, but I don't know if that's still an option. Anyone know for sure?

i looked on the site for when we booked for our trip in 21 days, and they do charge to empty the minibar, and I asked them to remove the booze.

Swan/Dolphin did not have them when we stayed there in Feb and April

We just stayed at the Dolphin June 26-29 & there was a mini-bar in the room.
We just took out enough of the beer/snacks that were in there to make room for some of our bottled water. We put the stuff on the counter & just left it there until our check-out day. Then we put the stuff back in.

We were in Room 15109.

they told me 20.00, and i had to call the day before checking in to be certain it was done on our arrival day.
