The last time we stayed in a value resort, we brought a double-high air mattress for a third sleeping surface. This worked well for us. Everyone got a good night's sleep.
We leaned the air mattress up against the wall when we left for the day. We folded the top sheet and the blanket and set them both on the table so they weren't in the way of mousekeeping.
