Resorts outside WDW

We are in the process of buying 200 VWL resale, and I was wondering if anyone had some feedback about some of the resorts outside WDW (specifcally on the East Coast). Looking forward to becoming DVC memeber and want to know how some of the other places measure up. Thanks

A small portion of the resorts on the exchange list through II are on par with DVC. I would not buy DVC to use for exchanging. The costs are too high and there are too many variables and road blocks. Congratulations on your upcoming purchase.

DVC has two Disney resorts outside Orlando - one is at Hilton Head Island, SC (and is my favorite resort of all) and the other is at Vero Beach, Fl (Never stayed there, but have visted for a look-see).

Both resorts meet the high level of quality one has come to expect from DVC.
