We will be in WDW - staying at BLT and would like to know which resorts should we visit to see their Holiday decorations.

Our kids are ages 5 and 1 and I think they will want to see the Gingerbread house at Grand Floridian - what else?

All deluxe resorts are worth a look IMO. That doesn't include SSR, OKW, or BLT/Contemporary.

DVC doesn't need to spend money on decorations to keep owners coming back.

A walking tour of the Boardwalk area resorts is a great way to spend an afternoon. BWV/BC/YC/Swan/Dolphin all in one trip.

Wilderness Lodge is phenomenal. Naturally, the theming makes it the perfect choice for Christmas decorations, and the gigantic tree in the middle of all the garland in the lobby is not to be missed. While you're there, take a walk over to FW and take a look at the RVers who have put up decorations. Many of them are quite elaborate, and they're all fun. The decorations at those two places, WL and FW, are worth a couple of hours out of your day.

I agree Ft Wilderness is beautifully decorated from WDW and the campers. Maybe take a carriage ride thru the campground! It's very reasonable and fun.

We stayed at Wilderness Lodge in 2010 for Christmas and LOVED it. The parks are extremely crowded so we spent several hours each day just exploring the resorts. The Grand Floridian is well...Grand and the gingerbread house is awesome. The Carousel at Boardwalk is one of my kids favorite.
