Which resorts are close to Epcot? I was thinking of leaving the park for lunch, as most of the places in Epcot are places my family would not like.

Thanks. :)

Exiting the International Gateway of the World Showcase will put you on the "circle" of resorts that include the Beach Club, the Yacht Club, the Dolphin, the Swan and the Boardwalk.

Beach and Yacht Club are about a 5 minute walk, as is the Boardwalk. Swan/Dolphin is maybe 10 minutes. Or you can take the boat to any of them.

For us, the 5 minute walk to Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club is well worth it! We love the burgers and the Sundaes are fantastic!

:smooth: ...and nice bouncing Mickey!

You might want to look again at the menus of the Epcot restaurants. I am not an adventurous eater, and find plenty to eat there.

Le Cellier, Alfredo's, and the Yakitori House all offer good food that isn't terribly exotic.

Beaches and Cream will be one of the few restaurants open for lunch in the Epcot resort area, and it can be very crowded with a long wait. You could also try ESPN, but it's LOUD and IMHO obnoxious.

Actually...I didn't think ESPN Club was that bad. I have been in alot louder places. The food was good there as well. It's possible that ESPN Club might get a bit more raucous on weeknights and weekends with sporting events going on, but during the day and early evening it shouldn't be that bad.

Beaches & Cream is an excellent place to go, but as has been said over and over again it is extremely popular, and sometimes the wait can get downright long. You might look into trying the Yacht Club Galley for lunch. They just recently re-opened, however, and I am not certain how the food there has been. I know in the past it was good.

Thanks! I didn't see Alfredo's the first time around. My family does like Italian food, so I will keep that place in mind. Also, ESPN would be a consideration. We are used to loud and obnoxious! (I have 4 boys! LOL) :teeth:
