We will be staying at the Contemporary over New Years and I called about making PS for the California Grill for New Years Eve They said it wouldit was a special party from 8-12 and it cost $375(?)per person for adults and $250 for children. I might not have the prices quite right but this must be some party for those prices
Has anyone ever done this party?
Does anyone know what else is happening around the resorts for New Years Eve?

We were at WDW last year for NYE and will be again this year. Did not attend Contemp. party but there is a more reasonable one at Epcot in the old millenium village. Dinner buffet and music for all ages. The price for last year is on wdwig.com look under NYE. We chose to eat at Teppanyaki and stay at epcot last year and this year we just got PS at Brown Derby for 8:30pm. Definitely do a ps somewhere and you can always cancel it. Swan/Dolphin also had a similar party for around $100pp I think. They wil advertize later.

Someone posted about doing the NYE party at CG last year. She had a great time.

I agree that you should get a PS somewhere. We've done HoopdeDoo the two years we've been there for NYE and then back to the hotel for fireworks.

We did the Contemporary party two years ago and plan on doing it again this year. We had a fantastic time and I know it sounds ridiculous but we felt it was worth the price. We went to the party at the Dolphin last year with dinner at Shula's beforehand and both agreed that the California Grill party was much, much, much, better.

Have a great time whatever you decide to do!
