My best friend just got back from a convention in Orlando and had a few free days so she went to WDW. Now she is a complete Disney fan! I am sooooooo glad. When DH gets grumpy about going I can go with her! She is wanting to plan a trip for August! Now, which resort . . . .

Looks like you haven't hit the Boardwalk yet.
It could be fun!

Hi ALL!
First of all, everyone countdown the days until they leave for WDW. RIGHT!
Did you ever notice that a mind change or personality change in your self from DAY 30 to DAY 29?
"ENJOY!!!"
"the MAGIC HAPPENS!!!"
 :jester: :jester:

Here's my dilemma and nobody but other expert addicts like y'all can help me out.

April 2004 POR just me and DH for our anniversary
Sept 2004 WL me, DH and the baby
Dec 2004 ???? me, DH, baby and possibly some of the older kids for MVMCP
May/June 2005 whole extended family to Ft Wilderness

My problem is this: I'm staying at WL in September, ressies are paid and everything, just waiting on either AP or FL res codes. WHERE do I stay in December?? Should I stay at WL again for the decorations? Should I consider a monorail resort? How is BC/YC decorated for Christmas? Should I change my ressies in Sept and stay at WL in December? Is it really SO bad to stay in the same resort twice in a row? Can you really go to DW too many times in one year? (DH thinks there's a limit to how much he can stand). We've already been twice in the last 6 weeks.

Hi all:

I think of this planning, dreaming and the dis board as a hobby for me. Hubby's work buddies are constantly asking me if there are any codes for disney, or where to stay. I have notebooks, reference books too.

Deb.

How about the Grand Floridian? I've heard it is gorgous during Christmas. I'm going to change my Christmas ressies from POFQ to GF - I think! Don't you love having multiple trips planned! And no, there is no limit to how many times in a year you can go! I would go every holiday, three-day weekend, if I could:crazy:

Of course can do your favorite resort twice in a row!

We did AKL concierge THREE times the inauguaral year!

AND, we are about to repeat the YC concierge, which is where we stayed last August!

::yes::

Nothing wrong with us here on the Resortaholics thread.....no sirree!:teeth:

I just had thought , Out of the 8 trips to WDW my children have never stayed in any of the Resorts we had celebrated our Anivesary years before them.
Question:
After an Aniversary Diner which is better a moonlight cruise with your love in the Seven Seas Lagoon or cruise back from DDT up the creek to POR.

Single digits until I get my Resort "Fix"! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Thanks for bumping this up! :) I just love reading this thread and seeing all the love and magic for Disney Resorts. :wizard:

I asked my husband last night as we were laying in bed what he thought of going back to WDW...he said it seemed to good to be true, since I had such a miserable time last time he thought we'd never go again...and now I am the one leading us there!!

I keep begging to add just one more day to our trip! We would have to pay $75 to change our flight- I wonder if that is per person, or when the tickets are booked together is just a flat rate??

I also realized I made a big boo boo. I bought an Annual Pass- so I could use the code to book my room.

I didn't know that it would not give me access to the water parks.

Now I am faced with these choices:

Exchange the AP when it comes in the mail for a 5 day park hopper plus 2. And change to room ressie to the regular room code.

Keep the AP and the ressie and just pay the extra money for water parks, or disney quest (I doubt we will go to Pleasure Island)

My AP cost $393.
AP 5 nights room $496
plus admission to water park/and/or DQ,PI (ad'l $31 for water park)

5Day PH + $263.00
regular code discount for 5 nights- $608.00

I bought a 5 day PH plus2 for DH.

I so badly want to add a day or go back in Nov...dont know if we really can afford that.....but it would be for our birthdays....11/5 and 11/9.
