Hi,

I'm just recently back from 1 week at the Poly and I'm already planning next years vacation. This time I'd like to stay somewhere diferent (on-site) that would be more fun for my son (who will be 4 when we go next).

I'm thinking about All Star Movies because he loves Toy Story and Buzz and also because they have a playground there.

Are there any other resorts with playgrounds or recommendations on what resorts are most enjoyable for children his age?

Thanks!

CSR has a very nice playground at the Dig Site. It has a couple slides and areas for climbing. I believe there are swings (I think) and plenty of sand to dig around in. There is even a little cave area that leads to a slide. Inside the cave there are paintings and carvings like you would expect at a dig site. The playground is kind of set in its own area and partially hidden from the pool. My four kids loved it. They constantly asked to go there, even when we are at another resort. DD (16) thought it was pretty cool and didn't mind watching her siblings while Dad went for a swim. Plus, there is the "Jaguar" water-slide at the pool. My DS (6) went down that slide for hours and hours. The staff allowed me to wait and catch my DD(4) at the bottom of the slide. This is all in a jungle setting and built around a giant ancient temple that has water following down it into the pool. Great theming.

I have to agree that the best playground I have seen in the one right on the beach at CBR! The resort is also beautiful, and the rooms larger than other moderates.

I did have the opportunity to see the playground at Old Man Island at PO-R, and that one was quite nice, as well. The one at PO-FQ is small, but also nice.

None were busy while we were there at any time (May or October), so your son will likely have the run of the playground at those resorts. The ones at the AS will likely be more busy. BTW, the Contemporary, AKL, and WL also have nice playgrounds!
