Resort upgrade pin ?

Oh, how wonderful!! We were upgraded last year from Pop to a 1 bedroom unit at Old Key West. There was so much room there we loved it. This is going to be such a special trip for you. Enjoy!

Having the 1 bedroom is going to spoil us I am sure!

I would venture to say that the offers are going out for end of May first of June since I was told that they are trying to free up value rooms.

I honestly think it is because of the refurb going on at Pop...they are not completing the buildings as quickly as predicted. We go the same time every year and stay at Pop and have never had an issue with it being super busy.

I have no clue how it was offered to us, I know that our original balance had to be paid in full for us to be able to use it and I think the availability dates ran through June 18th. So it is not just the week we will be there.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to every one!! It will be hard to go back to staying at a value after this but I am looking at it as a once in a lifetime opportunity!

You might want to check into getting an order from the Garden Grocer for your stay, we stayed at OKW last year (which is a lovely, quiet resort) they have a good assortment of food items at Conch Flats(general store) but they are rather expensive. The counter serve food places down at the Marina are nice, and the boat ride to DTD is very pleasant.
The food at Olivias is good -breakfast was awesome, as was lunch, we never had dinner there.

DH and I were reading up on OKW last night and he was glad to see that we would have the Washer and Dryer, it will be nice to not have to pack quite so much!

Thank you for all the info...we are driving down so we plan to bring some items with us, I will look into Garden Grocer as that might help with the milk and other cold items. I know I will be thankful to be able to bring our own water that we can freeze and take to the parks. We love DTD and I am excited that we can take the boat over!

Don't know if anyone mentioned it yet...but the 1 bdrm also has a jacuzzi tub...which is very relaxing after a long day in the parks.

That is my FAVORITE feature! and it's HUGE, in fact the whole 1 bedroom villa is GIGANTIC, it's like an apartment!! OP, you are going to love it. The one bad side -- it will be really hard to go back to a regular room after this.
