I also get a christmas orniment each trip.
My favourite souvenier though was a toten pole of Disney characters that I bought at the WL.

One of my favorite things I purchased was 2 framed AKL drawings of the resort itself. I bought them from the AKL gift shop.

We got a Christmas ornament this year and we got a throw blanket with chip, dale, mickey, donald and goofy on it and it say's Disney's Fort Wilderness on the bottom. I love it. I have it on my big chair in our living rm. It's great if I'm taking a nap & have the air conditioning on and I"m chilly and I know it will be used a lot this upcoming fall and winter.

We do the fridge magnets, but when we were at POFQ in April I could not find a magnet for this resort. We even walked over to Riverside hope for just a Port Orleans magnet. Nothing there either. I have Pop and Carribean, I need POFQ.


Any body seen these anywhere?

Nope we were there at the end of July. All they have are the ones that say Port Orleans

For our 12/04 trip at the WL, my favorites were the photo frame 'fridge magnet, WL Christmas ornament, and a tee-shirt I bought DH.
I know the T-shirt is one of those standard things, but seeing DH wear it brings back good memories AND lets me know how much he enjoyed our trip as well.

GF is our resort. we have the following:

xmas ornament (the nice/classy medallion ones)

snow globe (has the main building in the globe, lodge building around the outside, maybe the beach)

picture frames

postcards (a couple are displayed in picture frames)

sweatshirt-type pullover

castle chocolates from turndown service

just back and bought my resort ornament at the resort, then went to the Christmas store at DD, only to find them there, too. Wanted to get it personalized, but didn't want to buy a second one. Nice CM said that if I brought in the one I bought at the resort, they'd still personalize it. I think it had almost every resort ornament there.

PS If anyone has ever wanted the VERY heavy, wellmade FtW throw with the characters in front of a campfire and tent (with fringe), they were on sale two weeks ago for $40 (and I know I paid $65 last summer, grrrrr). Absolutely beautiful.
