Hey -

My family of four (the kids will be 6 & 9) will be taking a trip to WDW in mid-January. I've been researching all of the resort options and have narrowed our choices down to AoA family suite and a WL junior suite or bunkbed room.

I'd like to hear more about of the pros and cons of both places. What advantages does the deluxe resort have that the shiny new value resort does not? Of course, I might make up my mind once I see the 2013 rates - if they ever release them! :rolleyes1

Thanks,

Julie

I'm actually debating between the same two resorts for our next trip. I priced out both on the WDW site and was shocked to learn that WL is way more expensive - way more! I thought the new suites would be pricy but rack rate for WL was more than I realized.

The advantages of WL for me would be the boat to the MK, the restaurants at the WL, the better location and the nice pool. AOA has really nice pools too though and more space - the extra bathroom would be really nice.

Ultimately I think discounts or lack of discounts will make the final decision here. :)
