Resort Rooms

At this point, it would be easier to tell you which we haven't stayed at:
Pop (any)
All-Stars (any)
CSR
BWI (but have stayed at BWV)
Swolphin
any of the hotels on Hotel Plaza Blvd (exception, the HI before it was a Holiday Inn)

How about you?

We were at the Polynesian, Tahiti Longhouse Garden View room 3006 last month. We LOVED it! It was great being so close to the TTC and a short walk from the GCH. It was quiet, peaceful, and tropical.

Here ya go:

WL - room 6094 with parking lot view
All Star - room 7221 in the Touchdown section
Poly - room 3319 in the Fiji section facing the marina

We have stayed at

ASMo in the Mighty Ducks section. Nice section because there was a small pool in our section. No where else at resort just main pool. MD wings are the furthest from the food court though.

CBR. We loved this resort! We were in Aruba, Building 52 with a ground floor room right next to the pool. It was great. Just a quick walk across the bridges to the food court or OPR.

This year, staying at WL. I can't wait!

We only stayed onsite once so far - in 2005. It was wonderful - so good that I told DH we have to stay onsite every time we go.

We stayed at ASMo in the Toy Story section.

This next trip we'll be staying at CR - garden view. It's a short vacation but I can't wait!

Poly Rarotonga pool view, 2nd floor no balcony. Loved the location, easy walk to TTC, right ouside the GCH, very convenient. But with 3 adults, 1 teen and a toddler 8 days of luggage, a carseat and a stroller it was NOT enough room. A balcony would have made a world of difference, and one of the larger rooms WITH a balcony (which we requested) would have been even better.

CBR - Trinidad South. We were so far away from Port Royale, we only went there once the whole week we stayed. We were however close to the bus stop and near the laundry and small pool, I *think* it was building 37. The resort is HUGE.

This year alone we stayed at the Boardwalk 2BR BW View, BeachClub 1BR Garden View, Contemporary Castle View, Grand Floridian MK View, and the 3BR Grand Villa Savannah View at Animal Kingdom. All were awesome in their own way. I always say that nothing could touch the experience at Animal Kingdom and if it were closer to the parks I would never stay anywhere else, it's just sooooo far away, but well worth a couple days for the experience. The Contemporary was my favorite and the view was beyond words, the room was so modern and neat, but my entire family hated that there was not a "theme", like the others. So, if I had to pick a family favorite it would be the Boardwalk w/ a boardwalk view. Can walk to Epcot, MGM or the activities on the boardwalk, or take the boat. When you get to Epcot you can hop on the monorail and take it to the Magic Kingdom and the resorts up there. I love them all and can't wait to come back in June in the 2BR at the BeachClub, my only issue with that resort would be that the pool, which is spectacular, would have been an issue if my kids were little. It's so big, I would have been a wreck keeping track of them. Then in August we are staying 3 nights at the Boardwalk and off to our first Cruise!!!!!!!!! I loved and disliked the Grand Floridian because I didn't care for the rooms, compared to Vacation Club Villa's they are not even comparable, but the resort and pool and beach and location cannot be touched by anything else in my eyes. But way too much money when the others are better in so many ways. Good luck, hope all of my hours of countless research, staying and money I don't have helps you out! Have a great and magical trip.
