For those of you who are going to go to WDW for Christmas this year, how many of you will be decorating your room for Christmas? Will you be putting up a tree? What size? pixiedust:

Please share the details of all your lovely resort room decorating plans. :goodvibes

(And feel free to tell about a previous visit or an off-property plan!)

We stayed in a Boardwalk 1BR villa last year. Here's what we did:

A spiral Christmas tree, about 4 feet tall and skinny. We set it up in front of the balcony door so you could see it from outside. We faced the Swan and the waterway to DHS. Around the tree was out Mickey and Minnie moving figures, about 8 inches tall, from K-Mart in 1996. We also brought our favorite Disney ornaments that we've been collecting since the 80's. We bought some Vinylmations that went around the tree too.

We also had some crochet wreaths that an Aunt had made. DH discovered that the 3 berry clumps looked like Mickey heads if you hang the wreath upside down. We put one on the front door using the peephole for a piece of yarn. Another one hung on the kitchen cabinet. We put christmas magnets on the fridge.

We brought a small 1 foot tree with lights that we set up in the bedroom and used for a "night light". We also had some stuffed snowmen and a little calico tree that we put on the shelves and the TV cabinet.

We would turn the tree on before we went out and it was all lit and festive when we came home at night. Mousekeeping never had a problem with them.

Nice ideas. I am a nut for my Christmas ornaments. In fact, this coming weekend DH is taking me to Frankenmuth, MI for the first time. I am finally going to go see Bronner Christmas store for the first time! Its a little intimidating... wondering if I can be reasonable and not spend way too much. :rotfl2:
