Hey custom wedding people (lol), listen in reference to the room block because we are payinf for all of our 20 attendents, i was wondering if we could put everyone at one hotel and still meet the minimum requirement or if we had to choose three and scatter our guests throughout the resort, I only ask because I would really rather not do that if I dont have to, please respond if you know, I would greatly appreciate knowing!!! :earsgirl: :earsboy:

As long as you met the minimum # of rooms it doesn't matter what hotel they are staying at. It should be fine for everyone to stay at the same place. They just tell you to write down 3 hotels because people have different tastes and some people can afford more then others.

hey there...

I had a problem with that as well, b/c I thought I had to block out 3 different hotels, and I really didnt want to. Well you dont have to and thats the nice thing. I ended up blocking most of all of my rooms at the All-Star Sports and a few rooms at the Carribean Beach (b/c i knew people who wanted to stay there). I could have blocked them all out at the All-Star if I wanted to. They also told me that they try and put all of the blocked rooms together so the wedding party can all be close to one another.

If you have any more questions, feel free and send me an email at jamie0201@aol.com

good luck!

we picked 3 different resorts just to give our guest a choice on price but all 100 guest stayed at the same resort and we had all the rooms blocked in one area. It was GREAT to be with everyone and all our guests loved being together.

We blocked all of our rooms at the All Star Movies and it worked out great having everyone at the same place. If you want to have everyone in rooms close to each other make sure to call specifically to make the request. We were told by our coordinator that our blocked rooms should be close to each other, but they ended up being all over the place in different bulidings. It didn't really make a huge difference, but if you really want certain people near to each other request it on their reservations.
