For a non-DVC member where would I find rates on the resorts such as All-Stars, Polynesian, Caribbean etc?
We are a large family and a sleeps 4 room would not be enough for us so I need to chk which has larger rooms or chk rates to decide if 2 rooms would still be cost effective- We are also looking into DVC and will most likely go that route but I am still deciding home resort and points as of now. Thanks for any help.

Only one all star resort has suites -- I think it is the Music. I've never seen them but they are supposed to be quite nice. I think the only Moderate with suites is Coronado which is my families favorite. Rates can be found on the WDW site, allears.net and mousesavers.com Good luck.

Here are the 2008 rates: http://www.mousesavers.com/roomrates2008.html

Expect the rates for next year to be released in early to mid August.

As the previous poster mentioned, the FAmily Suites at All STar Music sleep 6 as do the cabins at Fort Wilderness.

POR sleeps 5, as do a number of the Deluxes.

Another good place to look for large families at Disney World is this page: http://**************.net/planning-...stances/special-circumstances-large-families/

Key thing to sort thru: how many beds do you need? Many (but not all) of the deluxes give you three: two queens and a daybed. You can't get more than two (full) in any standard moderate or value. (You can get a trundle in Alligator Bayou at POR but way tiny) DVC 1 bedrooms still give you just two beds--a king in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the other space. Figure out your bed needs and then work back from that to your room needs!

Hope this helps, Dave
