Resort Quick Service - Parking

We were hoping to try some quick services at different resorts this trip. However, I was wondering how likely it was that we'd be turned away from the parking lot, since we won't have ADRs for anywhere. If that happens, we'll go somewhere else, but I was just wondering if it seemed to be fine most of the time, or a problem most of the time?

Thanks!

We’ve eaten at the value and moderate food courts with no problem. Some of the deluxe might be an issue as they will sometimes restrict parking to guests and those with reservations for dining or recreation.

Art of Animation and POFQ are great choices for QS with no parking issues.

I agree that deluxe QS are more iffy. Maybe better to park at a park and walk or bus over. Or just be prepared to be turned away.

For resorts on the monorail you maybe directed to park at TTC and monorail/walk over to your desired resort. With the exception of Boardwalk Resort - For other resorts you shouldn’t have an issue parking as a guest.

Yes- we've always had good luck in the past but they seem to have restricted parking signs at many resorts now. We even saw the sign at Ft. Wilderness. We had an ADR at Trail's End but we've gone in the past just to walk the beach and have a drink at the bar at Trail's End. I'd be afraid to try that now. I'm interested to hear other's experiences.

We've taken a Lyft to deluxe resorts during busy times out of fear of being turned away. I'm guessing you would be okay during "slower" times and have more difficulty during the wall to wall crowd times- Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter etc....

At Deluxe Resorts, if you do paid valet parking they won't turn you away. It's $33 plus tip, though.

We do this a lot and the only place I've ever gotten flack was the Contemporary even though I told the gatekeeper I wanted to valet park. Valet peeps said he was just a generally grumpy CM.

I've successfully toured/shopped/eaten without an ADR at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Polynesian, Yacht Club, Caribbean Beach, Art of Animation, POP, Coronado Springs, Port Orleans Riverside, and Port Orleans French Quarter. I had to valet at GF, CR, Poly, and YC. Of course, valet isn't an option at the mods and values.

Do be prepared to show your driver's license or ID when you drive up no matter which resort you are visiting.

If you are staying on property, and have a magic band, just let them know that you are "resort hopping".....I've never had a problem.

I was curious about this as well. We want to do a monorail ride anyway so figured we wont need to worry about parking at the resort.

It also depends on where and when. Trying to do this second week of October? You'll run into issues at most of the deluxe resorts, for instance. (Big conference.)

Even staying on property last Christmas, YC would only let me valet as they had a huge convention there at the moment. So, it does happen.

Thanks everyone! We're going down right before labour day and we're staying on the monorail, so it's mostly the Epcot Area ones that I'm worried about. I'll remember to keep valet in mind if we encounter problems! If we valet at our hotel, can we use the one at the restaurant as well without repaying the $33 fee (or vice versa)?

You save your receipt and only pay valet once per day for valet parking at any resort.
