I need 2 rooms but with 3 sleeping areas - 1 rooms will have 3 non-related people that will not want to sleep together and 1 room will have 2 adults and 2 kids but 1 boy and 1 girl. Basically I was wanting to stay at the Disneyland hotel and having room where I can watch the fireworks but the sleeping arrangements are more important than the fireworks. Should I book Paradise Pier because their rooms have a sofa bed and the 2 queen beds or do you think that I can request and GET the 2 queens and sofa bed at Disneyland hotel (or do they have rollaways?) It is for 2 nights (friday and saturday at the end of June if that matters.

Either the Disneyland Hotel or Paradise Pier should match your sleeping arrangements (2 queen beds and 1 day bed). To watch the fireworks, I suggest staying at the DL Hotel in a Premium Downtown Disney View rooms in the Adventure Tower. If you get a high enough room in the frontier or fantasy towers, depending on which side of the building you may be able to see the fireworks (a bit of a gamble really). Otherwise those in the Club category can go up to the lounge and see the fireworks with the audio piped in.

Really I think it all comes down to availability. With your sleeping arrangements, off property I highly recommend Springhill Suites as there's plenty of beds/space and they have a dynamite breakfast.

Forgot to add, Roll Aways and cribs are available upon request, however my experience is that in the 2 queen and day bed rooms, there's not much room to add a rollaway.

If you decide you want to consider an off-property hotel/motel, I would recommend the Park Vue Inn. It's right across the street and a much a closer walk than either Paradise Pier or the Disneyland Hotel. They have a two room/three queen bed room that might work for you. They do have a small upstairs patio for fireworks viewing, but the view from Paradise Pier is better. I do love to stay on-property, but I would definitely pick staying off-property at Park Vue before staying at Paradise Pier just because the walk to PPH is soooooo long.
