Resort Pool ?????

I don't believe they call any of the bodies of water a resort pool. Have a look at a map . The wide portion of the tropical river may be referred to as a pool, though it isn't labeled that way on the map.

The SW park crew members do tend to refer to their bodies of water as "pools" to avoid saying "tanks." But I'm not aware of any water bodies at DC that have the word resort in their name.

Actually, when I was there in July, my nephew and I did the Trainer For A Day program. Our guides did refer to the tropical river as the "resort pool". I don't know why they used those terms instead of tropical river, but maybe because it is like a pool with clhorine instead of salt water like the reef.

That being said, it isn't like a resort pool, it's like a lazy river, part of it had a current and it goes through the aviary. Also, there are some parts that have no current and large areas for people to hang out/swim in. All in all, it's not very deep.
