Resort Photo Session

Has anybody done a resort photo session? I see that we get a discount in DVC, but I'm curious about a ballpark figure for the complete session. Anybody know what's a reasonable amount to expect to spend? Anyone have an experience to share? We'd be at SSR.

I'm curious about this too? What is it? A photographer comes to take family pictures? We'll be at BLT over Mother's Day next year with our extended family. Maybe it would be a good Mother's Day gift?

I am interested in this subject as well. The last time we were at WDW we stopped at a couple of the Photo Desks to view their pictures and they are beautiful. I was thinking about doing this next year for my 30th wedding anniversary with the hubs but wonder how much $$ we are talking about??? I would really appreciate any input from folks who have used this service....
