Resort parking ?

Getting ready to arrive at BLT in a few minutes. When coming through the MK main gate area and the CR gate, do we need our magic band upon initial arrival? Do we need to talk to someone at the gate? We have checked in online, but wasn't sure if the band would let us through the first time.

You will need to show a photo id at the CR guard booth. Sometimes they will offer to scan your MB but 95% of the time just the ID.

Thank you! We haven't driven since they stopped funneling resort traffic through MK gate. This is so much better! At the resort, you can show ID or skip the guard and just go through the magic band gate for resort guests per the guard.

I think you need to use the band to open your door before it will open the gate at the entrance to the resort.

That was also our experience in August. You needed to use your magic band once inside the hotel and then it would open their return visitor car gate.
