Is it free to park at the hotels onsite if you have a Annual Pass? This is what I got from the web site under Universal Resorts
Universal Orlando® Resort:

* Free self-parking each time you visit or pay for 2 hours of Valet and get the rest of the day for free‡
Does that mean the hotel or the garage? I was confused because it was listed under the Resort Heading.

I believe that's just the garage...not the hotels. Mainly because Universal doesn't own/run the hotels...Loew's does.

oh ok, that's what I thought but the worrding of the heading is what through me for a loop. Oh well.

just returned it was 22 a day for valet plus tax -- we are annual pass holders and it does not apply at the hotels

Yep... I just called them (Universal's Royal Pacific) and they told me that this system is just 2 days old over there and they've run into numerous problems with the parking lot arm, but it's improving. The annual pass does not give any discounts or perks for parking at the hotels, but it is free for garage parking at the park (with the annual pass).

I wish they wouldn't charge so much for the parking... IMO, it should be included with your room rate ~ families spend enough at the parks, hotels and restaurants as it is. :confused3

Disney have it in with their room rate, so everyone pays for parking wether you have a car or not. but i much prefer the Resorts at Universal, if you have a car you pay for parking ,if you dont you do not pay, rather than adding it on to room rates.
