Resort Parking Question

If you are staying onsite at a resort (say CBR) and are driving, I know you can park for free at any of the parks. But are you allowed to park your car at another resort?

We have reservations for dinner at a MK area restaurant, and I was hoping to park there instead of the main MK lot (and deal with the mass exodus of the boat ride at closing :scared:).

Thanks!

You can only park for up to 3 hours at another resort if you have ADR there. other than that no.

You can't park at a resort for the day unless you are staying there. Ever.

You CAN park at any resort, whether you are staying on-site or not, for a limited time (3 hours), to have a meal, shop, or explore the resort. Disney likes this, because it increases revenue at the shops and restaurants, and improves the likelihood that you will want to stay in a more expensive resort on your next trip. I do it all the time and really enjoy exploring the resorts and taking pics.

So yes, you could park your car at Contemporary or Poly for dinner, but no, you cannot park your car there for the day.

If you leave your car in an MK resort lot all day, it will be towed away.

Someone is going to add - Why don't you just valet park? Well, even valet parking is not supposed to be used so that you can park at the resort and go to a themepark. If you are visiting the resort, they will usually let you park there for the term of your visit to the resort. Once you leave the resort property, you'll have to move your car.

Swan and Dolphin are the only resorts to charge for guest parking, $10.00 per day I think.
