Resort parking costs and distance

Planning a trip to Universal, and planning to stay at HRH. Looks like a great hotel, but have heard things about the parking - the daily cost and the distance from the hotels (but not sure what hotel was being discussed). I tried the web site, couldn't find anythings and did not see parking on the map. We need the car for a day trip to Cape Canaveral and a couple of trips to WDW.

Could anyone let me know the price and how far you need to hoof it from the Hard Rock? Because I don't suppose there is any kind of shuttle to WDW - especially to get us there before rope drop.

It cost $15/night to park at the hotel. It is a 20-30 minute drive to WDW from the HRH. You don't need to take I4. You can go Turkey Lake, right on Sand Lake, left on Apopka Vineland which turns into 535

As pp stated self park is $15/day. We have seen the self park entrance on the right as we have driven into the Hard Rock. Not sure how big the lot is or how far you would have to walk. Not even sure if you have to go in the main entrance or if there is an entrance from the parking lot. We usually have a rental car but since we are on vacation we use the valet parking service. That is $22/day. My theory is that we are on vacation and doing enough walking that valet is the way to go and we do the same thing at Disney. I like driving up to the main entrance and having someone unload my luggage and take care of it.

If you were asking how far it was from the parking lot to the front door, you just go up the stairs and you are there. The parking lot is adjacent to the hotel.
