Resort Only Ressie and Dining Plan

I want to take advantage of the 30% off discount right now AND get the dining plan without having to buy tickets....is that not possible? Online won't let me do it.

I think people with AP's can add dining. It then turns into a package, but it's room + dining, not tickets.

only military and AP holders can get a ticketless pkg. DVC members and point renters can also add the dining plan to their room without tickets

you can not get free dining with any other discount. you have to stay three nights. you can call and see if you can just buy dining and use discount on resort and no tickets. but if you have AP then have to buy two day base tickets to get dining as well. either way need to call them

Nobody said anything about free dining. The OP just wants to know if you can pay for a room and dining plan without buying tickets.

You add room with a military discount and dining plan. That is what we have. you have to call to do it though.

Bottom Line.....No. Unless you are military or an Annual Pass Holder you cannot purchase the Dining Plan without tickets.

You can still take advantage of the 30% off the room and add at least a 1-day ticket per person and the dining plan. This you can do online.

OP, you can't combine the dining plan with a room-only reservation, unless you're an annual pass holder or military.

If you don't fall into either of those categories, then in order to have the dining plan you would need to book a package including room, DDP and at least a one-day ticket for everyone in the room. If you're booking the free dining promotion, then it needs to be a package with at least a two-day ticket for everyone in the room.

Unless you're booking with the military discount or AP discount, the DDP cannot be added without buying tickets. You could get a 1 day base ticket for everyone in the room and save those for a future trip, but depending on how many are in your party, that could add up quick. Good luck.
