I'm planning a trip in 5/2008 where I will be going down with my fiancee, her mother and her aunt. I was hoping to find a room that had 2 double / queen sized bed and a pull out sofa (like a 1 BR set up in one of the villas) ... It appears that they don't offer this. The aunt and mother want their own beds so we need at least 2 beds. I'll sleep on the floor if I have to, but it'd be nicer if we could find a place that has a pullout sofa option.

The only place I can see that has something like this is getting a 2 BR villa, which is kind of silly for 4 people and out of our price range anyway. Does anyone know if they offer 1 BR villa set ups with 2 smaller beds instead of 1 king size in the master bedroom? If not, does anyone have any suggestions on how to work this out?

The Poly offers 2 queens and a daybed....Not sure how sleeping arrangements would work best though....The daybeds are big enough, but I'm not sure how comfortable an adult would be in one. Port Orleans (Riverside I think) has some rooms with 2 doubles and a trundle bed. There are also the Family suites at the all-stars, although 2 seperate rooms there is often less expensive, and you'd get an extra bathroom that way. I wonder if you can get a standard room in any resort and get a rollaway? Not sure of the cost on that. I have also heard of people bringing inflateable aerobeds from home, too.

The daybeds at Poly are definately big enough for an adult and IMO more comfortable than the beds! See about adjoining rooms at POP or AS, you could probably get 2 rooms there for cheaper than a room at Poly and then you would have an extra bathroom!

The family Suites will sleep 6 persons.
There is a Queen size bed in the master bedroom area.
The living area has a foldout sofa which sleeps 2 . The chair and ottoman(the ottoman is not in the layout) will each foldout to a twin size and will each sleep one more person.

We found it cheaper to book two rooms at a value with 3 or 4 beds (sometimes we get 1 king room adjoining a double) and two bathrooms than one deluxe room or villa.

Linda brings up two good suggestions with the family suites at ASM or the cabins at Fort Wilderness. Still, I think two value rooms will come out cheaper.

Booking two value or moderate rooms will give you the benefit of two bathrooms (which makes getting ready in the morning so much easier) and no one will have to sleep on a sofa bed. If sofa bed sleeping isn't an issue (just personal space needed) then the Family Suite would be my next choice. You would have the kitchenette for snacks, and still have the two bathrooms. If you prefer a deluxe, I would go with one that has two queen beds and a daybed, like Poly, CR, BC, etc. The daybeds have a twin size mattress, and are also more comfortable than a sofa bed.

It wouldn't hurt to see if you can rent points from a DVC owner and book a two bedroom villa. Sometimes things work out so you get a really good rate going this way.

We always stay at the Poly with 5 of us. Our 2 older dd's are both adults and have absolutely no problems with the day bed in the room. It is a good sized twin when opened up. The rooms are spacious and we've never had a problem.

I have to agree with two of the previous posters: book 2 rooms at a value and everyone gets a bed and 2 to a bathroom:thumbsup2 I did my research and discovered that we can stay cheaper (just a bit) this summer in 2 connecting rooms at the ASMo than I could for a family suite--and we sure don't use the kitchen! I'm willing to give up a kitchen for 2 more beds and another bathroom. If you don't want connecting, ask for the same section when you make ressies. We've always been given our "preference" at the Movies! Here we come again June 08:surfweb: popcorn:: princess: :cool2:
