Resort near Sarasota

Hi,
We're heading down to WDW in November. We stay every year at CBR but this year friends are going with the DVC and staying at Sarasota. Can anyone tell me which reasonably priced resorts are closest to Sarasota. Thank for your help.

The closest moderates to Saratoga are the Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside.

Thanks for the response. One last question, are they withing hiking distance? I'm guessing not but thought I'd check.

No, I think it would be quite a hike. Someone could correct me if I am wrong.

Best way to get from one to the other would be to bus/boat to downtown and then if you were going to meet them at saratoga, you could walk from downtown, the hike from there to saratoga is not long.....the main reason we love SSR. But if they were coming to Port Orleans to meet you, they should walk/boat to Downtown, then catch the bus or boat to Port Orleans.

For going to the parks early, I would probably meet them at the park entrance, as I don't know what time the transport to Downtown starts.

go rent points from a DVC member and stay at SSR or OKW - or go with dd.

Sarasota is #18 on the map and Wyndham Palaceis # 25 on the map.

They are the bottom right of the Map in the Downtown Disney area.
