Resort Near DHS

Sure, BWI, BWV, Swan Dolphin, YC, BC, BCV. All within walking distance of DHS. Caribbean Beach Resort is also close, but you can't walk from there. You'll need to take the bus or drive.

You might not *enjoy* the walk from Caribbean Beach to DHS, but I'm sure it can be done if you really want to. There is a sidewalk (set a good distance back from the road) and crosswalks.

These are all nice and you can walk to both!!

We have stayed at both the Swan and Beach Club. Both are lovely walks. For us it was faster (and nicer) to walk than to take the boat.

That is quite a hike though espically from the Yacht and Beach and even more especially after a day in the parks

They do have convienent boats to and from though

There is also a Value Resort,Pop Century,that is only about a 7-8 minute bus ride away from DHS.

Only about 15-20 mins, depending on which resort you're headed to. The boat takes 25 mins, from DHS to BW. It stops at the S/D, then YC/BC, then BW and heads to Epcot.
If the boat is there when you get to the dock, fine, get on. But, if there is no boat at the dock, or in sight, then you may be looking at a waittime of about 15 or so mins. But, if you're tired, it's easier to stand and wait for the boat than to walk along the walkway back to the resorts.

Yep....DD15 & I walked from DHS back to BCV last summer & we did beat the boat back (and we weren't even trying)!

We've done it as well when we stayed at the BCV. It's a nice little walk.
