Resort Mugs for 2012

Just wondering if anyone have pics of what the mugs look like now? We arrive in about 3 weeks and really don't want another red one, so miss the resort specific ones!!! Thanks so much for any help!

I don't have a pic but they are not red anymore. They are white with a beach/pool scene on them with the Fab 5. The handles/lids are yellow, pink, and turquoise I believe.

I have these mugs from Aug ... I guess when we check in next week we will be getting two more !! LOL .. I have pink and blue guess we will have a set of 4 soon !!

I'm so glad they changed them this year We've gotten the same ones for the last two years. I wish there were resort specific ones too

Last year WDW came out with new mugs at the end of February. I wonder if it's the same time each year. We were there in mid-February and they changed the week after we left. I like our red ones a lot better than the new pink and yellow ones...(no offense to those who love them...)
I hope there is a totally new mug before our May visit.

The mugs are $13.95 I believe ...when we were there in Sept they had black, blue, pink, and yellow. I am actually drinking my coffee out of one right now

DH and I drink our coffees out of them all the time,the only thing is, MY coffee is much much nicer Sometimes i even fill up my Blizzard Beach one from 1997, its HUGE

when we went last year we got the pink and the blue ones....they didnt have the black and yellow......so hopefully we get the black and yellow ones....OR MAYBE they can change them at any time...
We just moved and a trash bag of 20 or more cups went to the local dump...I have no idea why I saved them...I would like to have kept Swan/Dolphin ones and Port Orleans ( before it was French Quarter) and Dixie Landings before it was Riverside...

At Pop in August, the availability of colors changed all the time--as in daily. Some days there were only a couple of colors; other days there were many. In the morning there were often more choices than at the end of the day.

In addition to the turquoise/blue, pink, yellow and black, we also saw orange, purple and lime green (those were rare--I wonder why?).

I have a Dixie Landings one. Oh how I miss the old Dixie.

My dad took us to Dixie and then told me about how when it was changing to Riverside there was a big discussion on "the dis". He was always talking about "the dis" back then and lime green and Pete and I was always like "whatever dad..you're wierd"...now whos the wierd one

At Pop in August, the availability of colors changed all the time--as in daily. Some days there were only a couple of colors; other days there were many. In the morning there were often more choices than at the end of the day.

The orange, purple and lime green ones were only available at the All Stars Sports as part of test. They had RFID chips in them and went with the new dispensers that read the chip to dispense the soda. The chip was programmed for the length of your stay and once you got a drink you had to wait 5 minutes before you could get a refill. Not sure if the test is still running.

The price of the mugs has gone up to $14.49 plus tax.

I'm assuming they will change the mug style and colors as soon as they sell out of the old ones.

We have gone this week in January every year for the past 4 years and we always seem to get the "leftover" mugs from the previous year until they sell out. I am hoping with the new Dining Plan having the mugs included, they will sell out quicker and we can get new mugs this year! We will be there in 2 days so I will report when I get back or maybe when I am there.

Have the mugs gotten any larger than they were in mid-2010 and prior? They seem to hold so little beverage. Fine if you are eating breakfast at your resort each morning. But I like to fill it up in the morning or evenings and take back to room. At POP its often somewhat of a walk so sure wish they were larger!!
