resort mug??? staying twice in 1 month

Well, My family and I are going in the first of June on dining plan staying at CSR. Now I have a new job and I supposed to go to a conference at Disney at the end of June staying at CSR. Can I bring my resort refillable mug with me on my second trip (no dining plan the second time)?

No one will stop you. The expectation is that you use them for one trip, the one during which they were purchased, however.

The technical answer is "no" because the mugs are supposed to be good for the length of the stay when you purchased them. See the sentence that is bolded on the first page of the Dining Plan brochure. This is the same whether the mug is purchased or part of the DDP.

Not true - in January I witnessed a CM at BC stop a family who were using very obviously old refillable mugs.

Short answer - it is not allowed. You must purchase a new mug each trip.

Twice within only 4 weeks? I can't believe any CM would expect a guest to buy two mugs in 4 weeks; that's really to the point of being ridiculous in this economy.

If the mugs are good enough for people to want to reuse them, then they are clearly good enough value to be worth purchasing one for each trip.

The mug is included on all the dining plans now so many folk are getting them as standard on every trip anyway. When we went without the DDP we bought our mugs and if we travel without it again, we will do the same. They paid for themselves within 2 days!

Did they bail on that plan? (I know that I had to keep getting my mug fixed because hot liquids killed them.)

Mugs are good for the length of the stay. Yes, you would be expected to buy the mugs again.

Disney's rules are that the mugs are good at the resort purchased for your length of stay. Anything beyond that would be against official policy.

your staying at disney twice in 4 weeks, technically your not suppose to use the same mug twice. but i honestly would. its not as if your using an ancient mug from the 90's like some ppl. Its within the same month!

Did you really drive from toronto to wdw 8 times? incredible! im too chicken to drive that distance. but i'd love to one day.

Actually 9 -- I didn't update that after our last driving trip will do that right now! we generally have 6 people in the van when we drive cause airfare is just too much..

Our sweet Ride --

Its actually an easy drive --i go straight through -- Leave Markham at 1:00 pm, dinner in Erie, PA, gas break in Virginia, power nap at the northern Georgia border, breakfast at the Florida/Georgia border IHOP, and at the World by noon power nap until the room is ready or 5 pm whichever comes later -- and then to the parks!!

The kids would sleep through most of the trip, so it was somewhat easy... but coming home -- thats a drag
When its just me and the wife we fly -- and this next trip we are flying the four of us..

I LOVE YOUR VAN!!!! What a great idea!! I esp love Lotso. haahaha. Cute!!

We actually kept Lotso on the front of the Van -- hes been there for almost two years now and is holding up extremely well-- Whenever i am driving, people smile and point and wave .. kids jump up and down and laugh -- it makes people smile

The best comment ever was when i was parked in a plaza and a little girl was walking past with her mom and she saw him and declared "Mommy loopk! Toy Story IS real!!!"

I will remove him once he gets ragged or people stop smiling when they see him -- i suspect he will fall apart before people stop smiling.
