Just make sure your POR Mug gets a wristband...or in this case a "handleband"!

Pool hopping is against the rules - even for mugs! The YC/BC mugs' owners pay good money to be there. They do not need mugs from other resorts taking up chairs and deck space.

We just got back. We stayed at BCV for 6 nights and got just one mug. We didn't use it all that much, maybe 4 times. Then we transferred to POR. Now, I already have 3 Polynesian mugs, 3 DxL mugs, 4 POR mugs (green), 1 BW, 2 AllStarMusic, add BC to that. That's a ton of refill. mugs. So, I figure that dd and I can 'get away' with using our POR mugs for the 2 nights that we are there. I mean, how different in styling can they be?? Well, they are bright purple now, rather than green. So, I bought a new one. Went home with 4 mugs in my bags. Of course, on our last day, at breakfast, what do we see? An older couple going past with their DxL mugs!!! Entirely different style and color and design. But, at least I felt honest.

We were talking about the mugs this weekend while at a local theme park -- Lake Compounce in Bristol, CT -- which has unlimited free soda with admission (there are 12 ounce paper cups at the soda fountains). They wasted SOOO many cups!!!

I think Disney should have one mug design and sell it for $20, then give everyone free refills everywhere -- even at the parks. The key here is to change the design every year (maybe even have the year as part of the design) and ENFORCE the no refills on old mugs!!!

I know that would work soo much better for us, and we'd pay a little more to be able to use the same mug everywhere for a full year.
