Resort Mug Designs

We are getting the DXDP for the first and second legs of our three leg segmented trip....3 different resorts. The third leg is DDP, so I know we do not get the resort mugs for that stay.
Will the resort mugs for the first two stays at two different resorts (BCV and VWL) have the same design? I know they can only be used at the resort you are staying at, but if they are the same design can I give them away so someone else can use them and just use the mugs from the first resort?

I was told by two CM's on our last trip that you can carry over your resort mug during split-stays, as long as it is within your same trip.
