We'd love to look around at resort lobbies on our next trip in January.
Just for fun, maybe having a snack or cocktail/treat in a few.

What are your favorite ones that provide a fun atmosphere and if so,...what is something you'd have to eat/drink again?

Thanks so much for your suggestions! :)

AKL is one of my favorites, there is just nothing else like it and you can go out and see the animals.
The grand is gorgeous, poly and the smell when you walk in...yum... and you could visit Trader Sams. Also, contemporary to see the monorail go through. I’m not a huge fan of the resort but love going there since is just nostalgic Disney for me.

The Wilderness Lodge has a gorgeous lobby. There are artifacts on display on different floors of the resort. The Carolina Pacific room in the Boulder Ridge Building next door has the best fireplace screen and biggest leather rocking chairs at the resort.

There is a tour of the buildings from Wednesday to Saturday at 9am that is very interesting and free, too.

Geyser Point Bar at the WL is a great place to grab a drink and something to eat. The view of Bay Lake is very relaxing.

AKL for sure. Victoria Falls is a nice bar sort of off the lobby - it's halfway between the first floor and the basement where Jiko and Boma are (and they walk out to pool level - it's worth walking out and finding the bridge with the flamingos).

Well,no food or drink available in the Pop Century "Lobby",but the Shadow Boxes there are one of the most interesting things in all of WDW.:)

Animal Kingdom Lodge and Wilderness Lodge are my favorites. I like the Contemporary too.
