We are staying at All-Star Sports this Friday night for MNSSHP. DH is in a slight predicament... He needs to e-mail an important document for work Friday evening. It is a large document, therefore we need a High Speed internet connection. I doubt that All-star has HSI, but does anyone know of a place close by that we could get a connection. We don't care if we have to pay for it.

When DH and I talked about this last night I told him that I would just post on DisBoards, they will for sure have an answer for us... :sunny: Thanks so much for your help!

The convention hotels have high speed. Try going to Coronado Springs and if you have a laptop you can use the wi fi in the common areas for $4.95 a hour. If you aren't bringing a laptop they have computers you can use for $10 for 15 mins.

If you won't have a car, I think one of the monorail hotels would be easiest to get to. The GF has a business center and I think the CR does too.

Aren't all the hotels getting HSI?

I wouldn't lug the laptop all the way to a monorail hotel. I'd take a cab to the BW and then take a cab bag to your resort. If it's for business, his company should have no problem reimbursing.

I wouldn't lug a laptop either. I'd just use the computers at the centers. A cab would cost more than the computer time.

But does anyone know when the AllStars are adding HSI. Maybe it's already in?

Actually most resorts now have internet!

Reader Reports

Let us know about your Experience!

Jill Blejwas, 9/05: Port Orleans Riverside -- Alligator Bayou now has hi-speed Internet access. Resort guests had free access through 9/1/05 while they were testing the service.

Jill Onega, 7/05: I am currently staying at Wilderness Lodge (not Villas, just a regular room) and was pleasantly surprised when I checked in on Saturday, July 2 to find out that just the week before all the rooms in the Lodge had been "outfitted" with hi-speed internet access.
Just thought you might want to pass that information on to your readers since many people choose resorts based on internet accessibility."

and from Tikiman's site:
"High speed wireless internet access is available for $9.95 per 24 hour period as of August 15th."

Yes, that was why I was wondering. Being a Polynesian fan, I had read that it was now available there but it still isn't listed on Allears. Maybe someone who has been at All Stars recently knows.

Value resorts have dial up access on the telephones. You would need to bring a laptop.

We will have our car and also dh needs to use his laptop. Coronado sounds like a good bet. We don't even mind going off property if need be.
