Anyone have some advice for Resort Hopping?

We are headed to WDW the week of Nov. 15th, 2015 for 9 nights...

THE PLAN:
2 nights at Pop Century
2 nights at Art of Animation
3 nights at Riverside (we consider Port Orleans our "home resort")
2 nights at Animal Kingdom

we will have our own rental car....

any recommendations to make the transitions smooth would be appreciated!

skip the 2 value resorts.

go 5 nights at Riverside THEN 4 nights at Animal Kingdom.

We have switched resorts before. It is doable, but i would never do it more than one time. And your 4 nights at the values will be blown away / overshadowed by the 2 nights at animal kingdom lodge. So just skip them.

If you need ADRs, keep in mind that you won't be able to book all of them based on your first checkin.

You'll be able to do 180+2.
Then, 2 days later, 180+2.
Then, 2 days later, 180+3.
Then, finally 3 days later, 180+2.

I agree with skipping the Value resorts.

They are checking in in 10 days. I don't think changing resorts is an option now, and ADRs were no doubt taken care of.

Hey! We're going to be in WDW at almost the same time!! (We're just doing a boring 3 resorts in 12 days, though.)

Wow! 4 resorts! That is a lot of resort hopping for 9 days! You have a nice cross section with one each of a value, moderate, deluxe and a suite (guessing AoA is a suite?).

My advice: Be Organized! Try to reduce the packing and unpacking. Use easy, lightweight luggage and travel light.

I would pack using color coded packing cubes for each resort. Perhaps match the color of your Magic Bands with your packing cubes? That way you can be organized with outfits ready when you arrive at each one and you will reduce your packing/unpacking time. Keep all your essentials such as toiletries in a over the door hanging organizer so that you can pop them all out and back into your bag easily. Have layers ready in case of warm or cold weather. Don't forget a 'wet' bag for swimsuits.

On moving days, just go enjoy the parks through your 'homeless' hours from 11:00 - 3:00. Take time to relax at each resort on your non moving day to get some pool time and enjoy the facilities.

Sounds like fun!!!
Enjoy!
