Resort Hopping?

I know this has been asked a billion times...but refresh me please!

I'll be staying at the CSR for 11 days...but while down there I would like to visit some other resorts...you know just to look around.

I figure once I'm at the Contemp. I could ride the monorail to the Poly and the Grand Floridian. I also want to see the AKL and the WL.

I'll be driving so whats the best way to gain access to these resorts?

We've resort hopped several times and found it the easiest when we've made dining ressies at the resorts that we wanted to see. For the resorts that we had no ressies, we just drove to the resort, told them at the gate that we just want to walk around and see the resort and they gave us a special parking pass for 2 or 3 hours. Enjoy your stay!

Since you'll be on the monorail anyway, I'd get off at MK or EPCOT and take a bus over.

I think there is a boat to WL from MK too (?). If so, I'd take a bus to AKL, then back to MK. Then boat to WL, then back to MK and walk back to CR.

Though if you can do what pp said, I think that would be alot easier!

Even though you have a car, consider taking the bus from CSR to MK. From there, you can take the monorail or ferry to Poly, GF, or CR.

You could also walk to the CR. It takes about 10 minutes.

By doing it this way, you are not limited to the 3 hour parking pass rule.

If you still want to drive, enter through the MK parking gate, as far right as possible. Tell the CM you are going to the CR, they will point you to the right fork in the road, and there is no charge for parking at a resort. That is the reason for the 3 hour pass, to force park goers towards the paid parking. You will pass under the Bay Lake/Seven Seas Lagoon canal, and CR will be on your right. The Security CM will give you the parking pass.
