Anyone done it recently? I heard that you can only enter the resort hotels these days if you are staying there or if you have a dining reservation / mobil order. Is that true?

That’s my understanding too. I have booked Kona, just in case Trader Sams opens and GFCafe just in case the Rose lounge opens.

You can only park at a resort if you’re a guest or have an ADR. But there are no access restrictions/checks if you arrive on foot or via Disney transport.

As a PP said if arriving by car its required and actually more often than not prior to Covid it was that way.
If you're staying onsite you could take transportation to a park and then to the resort no problem.
Or you could park at DS and take a bus.

As long as you're using Disney's transportation you won't have a problem resort hopping without reservations. If you're driving, they won't let you in without a reservation.

The truth of the matter it all depends on what resort and time of year. You will have issues during regular days and holidays trying to get in the GF, POLY, CR,BC,BW. That being said it not impossible as depends on the guard at the guardhouse. Any other resort on property your getting in without a reservation.

Current policy is no parking without a reservation. Strict Covid policy.

Thanks for all the replies. I was planning on parking at DS, taking a bus to Caribbean Beach, jumping on the Skyliner and go from there.

I want to go to the GF Cafe or Ohana( if it opens) after the MK park closes. The problem will be getting back to our resort ugh. I hate to go clear to DS or hire an Uber to get back.
