Anyone ever done it for an afternoon and grabbed drinks? Thinking about a Universal trip and was looking for something to break it up a little. We do it at Disney and its pretty fun.

Frequently. They are close enough to easily move between. Pool hopping is allowed also with a few restrictions (think Endless Summer guests not allowed to pool hop?) I have hopped to eat, to use the Villa pool at PBR

Is PBR the pool that might be the best/most relaxing choice for adults guests without kids? We stayed once at Royal Pacific and the pool was crazy, with nonstop games for the kids, loud DJ/host, etc. Fun for the families but we would have loved something a bit more toned down.

Did that last week. We stayed at Royal Pacific for 3 nights and then stayed at Cabana Bay for 2 nights. We also visited Sapphire Falls, Hard Rock, and Portofino.

PBR actually has 3 different pools. The Beach pool has a slide and will probably have most of the families there. While technically not an adult only pool, the Villa pool tends to have mostly adults there as it doesn't have a slide, waterfall or an interactive kids play area. It is actually my wife and daughter's favorite pool to lay out as it tends to be quiet. There is food/beverage service at the Villa pool. So you can order drinks and food and have it delivered to you right next to the pool. I do believe there are rentable cabanas there as well though I've never rented one there myself.

There is a 3rd small pool off the East wing of the hotel called the Hillside pool if I remember correctly. If you want a pool with the best chance of your being the only ones there, this is the pool to try out. But I'm also not sure if it has pool side food/beverage services which may be why it tends to be emptier than the other pools.

To answer your question, yes, if you are looking for a quieter more "adults only" pool, then the Villa and/or the Hillside pools are your best bets of all the onsite Premier hotel pools.
