Resort hopping and UPH tickets

Hi,

I'm hoping all you Disney experts can advise me on a UPH question. We are planning a visit to WDW this summer and for the first time we want to resort hop.We are planning to stay at ASMo for the first 6 nights but would like to switch to a Deluxe resort for the last 2 nights. We like the freedom of the UPH tickets but can you get those when resort hopping? This will probably be our last visit for a couple of years so an AP would not be used again. Any thoughts? You can get UPH tickets at both resorts. However, it will be more expensive than if you were staying at the same resort the entire time.

You will not be allowed to get one UPH ticket for the entire stay. You will have to buy the 2 night/3 day ticket at the deluxe resort and a 6 night/7 day ticket at ASM. Dropping the arrival and/or departure day can only be done if you buy the ticket at arrival (no advance purchase discount) and will be up to the CM at each resort.

Were I in this position, I would consider another type of ticket medium - perhaps a 7 Day PHP. I'd pay separately if I wanted to go to DQ. Another option is the 10 Day World Pass that is available from some online brokers. That ticket is just like a UPH (includes DQ as well as the waterparks, PI & WWOS), but has some restrictions. Be sure to check them out before you commit to a purcahse.

You'll have to do the math based on your own touring plans to determine what will work best for you, pricewise.
