Resort Hoppin' with Wigd and Shocker! Contests!

I have more than a few to go!:lmao::lmao::rotfl2: One day I will add on!!! I tell DH all the time that I want to add on....but alas I keep finding other (more necessary household items!) things to spend the money on...
Only 33 more days til my trip!!!!!

Elena, what day do you leave to go down?

We are going on Sat. 12/18 and we decided to fly!!!! Woohoo! So, the airfare probably wasn't the be best deal.... but we are flying nonstop on Southwest. We have to drive 2 hours to fly SW, but the nonstop will be worht it.
When are you going?

We fly in on Sunday early afternoon. We typically get to the Beach Club around 2:00 or close to it...
This time could be different though. We are picking up our luggage and renting a car. So who knows.
No waiting for DME.
On the other hand we have to get the luggage and find our way to the resort.

Cool! What made you decide to rent a car? We are doing DME...We haven't done that in awhile. It shouldn't be to hard to find the BC from the airport. There are lots of signs.
We get in around 3. We'll be across the way from you at the Boardwalk.:)

Thanks for the baby update. I hope Keeley feels better soon, and all goes smoothly.

We are looking for a March use year, DH wants a small (under 150)point contract. He's looking at Vero Beach. I'm thinking SSR or OKW since they are sort of cheaper and lower maintenance fees. But I'd love to own at BC too!
We have to wait a while and save up, but you never know what might come along! Have to keep watching!

Hi! Once upon a time, I read your report...then life interrupted... I am happily back, albeit a slight shade of green.

Really, please do not feel you have to comment on my months worth of comments. I really should be asleep, but I couldn't take a break.

Disney classroom totally rocks! I teach high school, and introduce my passion in small doses. I can't wait to figure out how to add it more. You've inspired me!

Lovely countertops and terrific Disney dishes...I am way too late to get in on that purchase. hehe

Great faculty party at school! Loved the decorations!

Great TR so far. It looks like tons of fun with the little ones (isn't it always better when you can enjoy them and say goodbye.) Love the food porn.

I think I need to immerse myself in the Disney Store soon (neither is terribly close, but 25 minutes isn't awful either!)

We had a boardwalk view (we can't plan as many trips as you - there's the green) so the extra points on a couple of nights wasn't an issue. It was breathtaking. Our view at BCV was the same as yours. hehe. Loved the cranes. :sad2:. They tucked them away though, so we did see the lovely pool too.

We just added on too at SSR, which we probably will be at often without the 11 month window. DH can get vacation time about 4 months out in summer and 2 or less in winter. Congrats on the Vero purchase!!

Looking forward to "being introduced" to the new baby.

Lastly, in case you don't know about it... www.d-cot.com might be the greatest site (aside from the dis, of course). It is a jukebox of Disney Theme Parks, resorts, etc!!!

Okay, I can go to sleep now.
:yay: :flower3:

The Premium Outlet Mall is on Vineland Avenue - pretty close to Downtown Disney. There's also a Character Outlet Store at the Prime Outlet Mall which is off I-4 and farther away. They're both really good stores though!

We usually go to the Premium Mall because 1. I hate driving on I-4!!! 2. There's a Publix just past the outlet mall on the left so it's a good excuse to go! 3. It's easy to get to and a lot closer!

Welcome to the world Hunter James!

Hope I'm not stealing her thunder, but this is what Anita posted on FB a few hours ago. No date/time - if it was yesterday, he will be sharing his b-day with Mickey Mouse!!!

Best of luck in your search! I just know the perfect contract will come along and you will be ready to jump in a swoop it up!!!

Thanks for all the comments! I loved your trip report!
Congratulations on your add-on. It's quite addicting once you get started...
We have always had good luck wait listing our stays at the Epcot resorts if they have been full. So if you ever think you want something that's full, I say try a waitlist and see what happens.

Thanks so much for the website! I love it!
I hope you can make it to the Premier Character Outlet since you'll have a car! You would love it!
Yes, that's a plan!
Premium character outlet? Which one is that??!!
I'm going to google that one!

We will have to find directions to program into our gps....
Hi Anita!!! I'm a bad Dis friend, so behind..... But I'm here now! :)
I'm behind and it's MY trip report!
A little birdie (MeMom) told me we have a new Dis baby. Can't wait for details.
Yes we do! That MeMom was right!

Thanks Sheree!

We do have a new baby!

Born November 18th 11:52 pm.
He just made it!!!

I'll get pictures posted tomorrow!

He slid in under the wire, but he made it.
Nobody deserves a Mickey Mouse baby more than Wigd. ::MickeyMo
I'm looking forward to seeing many pictures of Hunter and Harper as they grow up and get into mischief together. :)

You won't believe it but it really hadn't occurred to me that there was a possibility of a Mickey birthday. I would have driven everyone nuts with excitement with anticipation over that one!

Harper is going to be so demanding with Hunter. She has her way of clapping her hands when she wants something now. Two claps! NOW!!!CLAP CLAP GIVE HIM HERE!!!

We will be in for it.
Congrats!!!!!
Thanks Jen!
Congratulations, Anita! So, the big question is...does Hunter James already have some Disney clothes???
As you can imagine he has a "few" pieces of Disney clothing and accessories...
We will be forced to do some more shopping in let's see here, looking to see,
