No, I'm not finished with the trip report. Just stalled out. My weekends have been taken over by a baby shower and bridal gown shopping. We also have a workshop to attend the weekend before we leave for Disney. Usually I just do a marathon update and get it done. I just don't know how that can happen this time.

No packing yet....
16 days to go.

I wonder if you could make some extra money on those cute little peas?

Hi Mary Ellen! Just sitting here on the sofa thinking a naps sounds great!
Shocker is calling bingo at his school tonight and I'm home. I guess I could be updating but probably not.....
I'm just too darn tired.
Our trip is getting really close, and we have plenty to keep us busy until then thanks to our wonderful children!

Back home finally! Checking in and I know how tough it can be to update when you are tired from teaching all day. Take your time since then I will not feel pressured to Fast forward mine to synch up.


I will expect updated pictures from Dumbo. It seemed like some things were zooming along from Oct 1 through Oct 12. The weather was cooling off but still kind of hot in the middle of the day. I hope it cools off more for you.

At home today was perfect 79 and breezy. Great for short sleeves and shorts but a light jacket if you needed it.

I will have to try those bacon crackers. My DS likes all the ingredients so maybe near the holidays I can make a batch.

No way will I get this finished before we leave, just too much to do before we go.
Those bacon wraps are soooo good, he's going to love them!!!

We woke up and it was time to move again...

to the Boardwalk!!

Marc and I just walked over and had our lockers and large bags sent. We checked in and our room was ready!

So we went up and checked it out! Not good.
Back to the desk we went for a change.
We were switched to another villa.
So off we went. No pool view.
Garden view. Canal view. Tree view. We saw leaves. We heard the water taxis....

OK, it was peaceful. Not my favorite. Oh well good enough to prompt a call to DVC to see if we could just stay there for the remainder of our trip and they were able to grant the request.
Yay! No more moves!

It was soon time to head to the IG. We had a meet at Club Cool with some special DISers!

First though we ran into...

and then....

Then we got to Club Cool and there was Jeremysdismommy, MeMom, Jill, John, and the girls. You can see that Bella is fast asleep....

Dancinprincess showed up to party with us!

Brooklynn was persuaded to have some Beverly but there was no trickery involved.

Let's just say there was bribery involved....

It was this!!!

John and Jill headed off to lunch, Memom took the girls to Pop to rest and swim (if I remember right) and the rest of us disbursed....

Our next stop was shopping.
Who is surprised?

I didn't buy this but still think I need one for school.

After shopping our behavior became a little squirrely.

Then we headed to lunch at San Angel Inn.

I wasn't very crazy about the food, please don't flame me!
Marc had a chicken entree.

I had the chicken tortilla soup.

At this point we stopped for the picture of the guys but were missing our Baylor....

We walked out and I tried to check out happydog's cool spot but the CMs were hogging the cool air.
So not Disney like on their part. They were doing this on the way in as well.
I was annoyed so I whipped out the camera and took their picture!
Smile, I got you!

We also saw a bazillion Brazillions in mello yello!

Up next for us was some 80's Michael and cool air!

I thoroughly enjoyed Captain EO. I hope we get the chance to take Baylor in a week and a half.

On the way out we saw children misbehaving.
I tried the teacher look.
Didn't work.
Parents, take care of your children.
CMs, do your jobs!

They were playing in the elevated fountains, jumping from one wall to the other. This is how kids get hurt and lawsuits happen. UGH! Notice dad taking a picture. How sweet!

Silly Marc was taking pictures of people smoking in nonsmoking areas and these kids asked him what he was doing so he told them.
They said "We aren't smoking but would you take a picture of us"? So he did and here they are!

Naughty smokers caught on film...

And then back for the evening....

I've heard good and bad about San Angel Inn, more bad than good, so I'm not likely to try it. I love Mexican food and we have so many great Mexican places around here that I'm afraid I'd be disappointed in SAI....
